Rome is the capital city of Italy and many people travel there every year. When you come to Rome, you will see the beautiful restaurants and stores, but also the scenery. You can take a walk or a boat ride during anytime of the day or night. The first thing that you will need to do when you book a trip to Rome is to decide on where you will stay. There are plenty of places to stay when you come to Rome, such as hotels, bed and breakfasts and apartments .

You can get an idea on where you would like to stay by going online and searching for Rome lodgings. A list of lodgings in different areas of the city will appear. The good thing about the Internet is that you get to see how the rooms look before you make a decision. It is important to make room reservations as soon as you decide to come to Rome since rooms fill up quickly. You can book your reservations over the Internet with a credit card, unless you prefer to go to a travel agency to make arrangements.

When it comes to where you would like to stay in Rome, it all up to you. You can stay close to the heart of the city, where you will be in walking distance to all the major restaurants and stores.
